Yes. Many Echo Park houses are reached only by public stairways, so we park as close as the street allows and carry everything by hand. Stairs and long carries are included in the hourly rate. Items heavier than 300 lbs add $150, and a piano is $200.
Traffic heading to Dodger Stadium can gridlock Echo Park streets on game days, and some blocks near the ballpark are signed for permit-only parking during events. Give us your address and date when you book, and we will plan the start time and truck parking around the game schedule.
Baxter Street is one of the steepest streets in Los Angeles, parts of it were converted to one-way traffic, and long vehicles have gotten stuck at the top. We plan an approach that keeps the truck off crests like that and walk the load in from a safer spot. That carry time is billed at the normal hourly rate with no extra charge.
Monday–Thursday, 2 movers and a truck start at $119/hr at the cash rate, and Friday–Sunday are $135/hr. There is a $30 gas fee and a $50 deposit that is applied toward your total. Stairs, long carries, moving blankets, shrink wrap and furniture disassembly are all included.
Book as early as you can. Weekends and the end of the month fill up first, and long-distance moves need extra time for planning. For an urgent move, call us: same-day crews are often available.
You can choose any convenient day for your relocation, and yes, we can help you move on weekends and holidays.
A safe relocation is our goal, so we’ll provide you with a detailed list of items that are prohibited to transport. It includes perishables, hazardous materials, firearms, batteries, etc. We also don’t recommend packing your personal and irreplaceable items, including family heirlooms, family photos, jewelry, documents, etc. Carry them with you during the move.
We accept cash, all major debit and credit cards, and certified checks. We don’t accept personal checks. There will not apply any transaction fee on card transactions.
Yes, we’ll contact you prior to delivery. We’ll deliver your belongings within the given moving arrival window. In case the window is no longer possible, we’ll also contact you in advance and set another delivery time.
