What an out-of-state move with us can include
Monday–Thursday moves start at $119/hr for 2 movers and a truck at our cash rate, and Friday–Sunday are $135/hr. Stairs, long carries and multiple stops are included, a $30 gas fee applies, and the $50 deposit goes toward your total. Pianos are $200 and items heavier than 300 lbs are $150. Under CPUC rules, Double Drive Time applies to longer local moves, while long-distance moves are estimated separately.
Yes. Laguna Beach climbs quickly from the shore into the San Joaquin Hills, and the city's public parking falls short enough that visitor cars spill into residential streets. When you book, we ask about your street, your stairs and the nearest legal curb so the crew arrives with a plan; stairs and long carries stay on the hourly rate.
During a Red Flag Warning, parking restrictions take effect in the Diamond/Crestview neighborhood, and vehicles in spaces marked with a painted red flag can be cited or towed. The city also asks drivers to keep narrow streets clear for emergency vehicles. If a warning is in effect, we stage the truck outside those spaces and adjust the plan with you before the crew arrives.
It takes more planning. On most summer days and evenings, traffic on North and South Coast Highway runs bumper to bumper, and Laguna Canyon Road slows near the Festival of Arts and the Sawdust Art Festival. We set start times and routes with that in mind, and a Monday–Thursday date keeps you on the $119/hr cash rate instead of $135/hr.
Yes. Three Arch Bay is a private gated community in South Laguna, and neighboring Emerald Bay, which straddles Coast Highway, is gated as well. Share the gate procedure when you book so the truck and crew are expected at the gate on move day.
Book as early as you can. Weekends and the end of the month fill up first, and long-distance moves need extra time for planning. For an urgent move, call us: same-day crews are often available.
You can choose any convenient day for your relocation, and yes, we can help you move on weekends and holidays.
A safe relocation is our goal, so we’ll provide you with a detailed list of items that are prohibited to transport. It includes perishables, hazardous materials, firearms, batteries, etc. We also don’t recommend packing your personal and irreplaceable items, including family heirlooms, family photos, jewelry, documents, etc. Carry them with you during the move.
We accept cash, all major debit and credit cards, and certified checks. We don’t accept personal checks. There will not apply any transaction fee on card transactions.
Yes, we’ll contact you prior to delivery. We’ll deliver your belongings within the given moving arrival window. In case the window is no longer possible, we’ll also contact you in advance and set another delivery time.
