How we prepare a long haul
Two movers with a truck cost $119/hr Monday–Thursday at the cash rate and $135/hr Friday–Sunday. Each move adds a $30 gas fee, and the $50 deposit is applied toward your total. A piano adds $200 and any item heavier than 300 lbs adds $150; stairs, long carries and multiple stops are already covered by the hourly rate.
On Wilshire and on La Brea Avenue, curb lanes marked for buses turn bus-only during Monday–Thursday rush hours, and buses on those lines carry cameras that record vehicles blocking the lane. We schedule loading outside those periods or use a side street, garage entrance or loading area your building allows. Share your cross streets when you book so we can plan where the truck goes.
Yes. High-rises and managed buildings often set move hours, require an elevator reservation or ask for proof of the mover's insurance ahead of time. Send us your building's requirements when you book; we're CPUC licensed with full liability coverage and workers' compensation, and we time the crew's arrival to the window you're given.
Yes. Piano moves carry a $200 fee on top of the hourly rate, and the stairs themselves are included. Tell us the piano type and describe the stairs when you book so the crew arrives with the right equipment.
Yes, when a crew is free. Call 909-443-0004 any day between 8AM and 6PM to check what's open. Longer moves within the LA area can fall under the CPUC's Double Drive Time rule, and we'll tell you before booking whether it applies.
Book as early as you can. Weekends and the end of the month fill up first, and long-distance moves need extra time for planning. For an urgent move, call us: same-day crews are often available.
You can choose any convenient day for your relocation, and yes, we can help you move on weekends and holidays.
A safe relocation is our goal, so we’ll provide you with a detailed list of items that are prohibited to transport. It includes perishables, hazardous materials, firearms, batteries, etc. We also don’t recommend packing your personal and irreplaceable items, including family heirlooms, family photos, jewelry, documents, etc. Carry them with you during the move.
We accept cash, all major debit and credit cards, and certified checks. We don’t accept personal checks. There will not apply any transaction fee on card transactions.
Yes, we’ll contact you prior to delivery. We’ll deliver your belongings within the given moving arrival window. In case the window is no longer possible, we’ll also contact you in advance and set another delivery time.
