Structured Service Execution Protocols
Every SOS Moving project — whether residential, commercial, or institutional — follows a defined operational process designed to ensure consistency, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
01
Step 1
Requirements Analysis
Client requirements are documented during the initial intake process, including inventory assessment, distance calculations, access conditions, and any special handling needs.
02
Step 2
Compliance Evaluation
Each project is reviewed for regulatory requirements, building access rules, COI needs, parking permits, and any client-specific or program-specific compliance standards.
03
Step 3
Cost & Pricing Modeling
Our pricing team calculates project costs based on resource requirements, distance, seasonal demand factors, and contract terms. All pricing is transparent and documented prior to service execution.
04
Step 4
Operational Planning
Resource allocation (crew size, truck type, equipment), route planning, timeline, and contingency protocols are defined before the move date.
05
Step 5
Service Execution
Trained field crews execute the move according to the operational plan, maintaining protection standards, communication protocols, and quality checkpoints throughout the process.
06
Step 6
Completion & Documentation
Post-move walkthrough, client sign-off, and documentation are completed. For institutional clients, audit-ready records are maintained per contract requirements.
Documentation & Audit-Ready Processes
For institutional and contract-based engagements, SOS Moving maintains comprehensive operational documentation including:
Service agreements and scope-of-work documents
Inventory records and condition reports
Certificates of Insurance (COI)
Crew assignment and vehicle logs
Completion confirmations and client sign-offs
Compliance checklists per project type
Insurance & Liability Coverage
SOS Moving carries comprehensive liability insurance on every move. Basic carrier liability provides coverage at $0.60 per pound per article. Full-value protection is available through our insurance partner, Baker International, for clients requiring enhanced coverage. Certificates of Insurance are provided free of charge for all projects requiring COI documentation.
